![]() ![]() In Windows 10, you simply need to access the control panel, where you’ll have the option of turning Windows features on and off. ![]() Because IIS is a Windows feature, there isn’t much installation involved with setting it up. Why are the configurations not working as expected, is there something else i need to do? I looked into the domain provider and can't seem to find anything in there that i would need to change. Whether you install IIS on Windows 7, 8, or 10, the setup process is the same. What do i need to do in order to be able to access the site with a hostname such as I was able to configure the site with a static IP address using port 8000 and was able to view it locally on the remote server, however when i try to open the port via windows firewall inbound rules the site is still not accessible outside the remote server. I have tried setting the bindings the way all examples online show, using port 80 with the unassigned ip addresses and using a host name but trying to access the site returns DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN error. We already have 1 sub domain set up and it works perfectly fine () I want to configure another option, but i seem to be unable to do so and have it accessible from other devices. We are using windows server 2019 and IIS 10 and our primary domain is purchased through networksolutions. So I am trying to configure a subdomain for testing purposes. ![]()
